BIO
Voices Of The Damned is a metal band based out of Cleveland, OH formed in September of 2019. Comprised of seasoned and respected musicians, J.C.B (Vocals), Daniel Niederkorn (Lead/Rhythm Guitars, Backing Vocals), Andy Hanna (Lead/Rhythm Guitars, Backing Vocals), Micheal Marczak (Bass Guitar), and Christopher Herbert (Drums, Samples), the band is determined to succeed at the local, regional, and national level.
Voices Of The Damned released their debut EP titled "Awakening The Beast" on August 13th, 2021. The EP features "Lady Bathory", "Forever Immortal", "Alone" and "Rising Again", the first four songs the band ever created.
With a foundation of music to work with, Voices Of The Damned feel that this is only the beginning of great things to come. Always busy and always creating, it's only a matter of time before the next chapter is written. We are currently working on new material to be released in 2024.
You're all Damned!!
J.C.B.
Vocals
The road to J.C.B's musical career started when he was 18 and he never looked back. The rush of playing music is in his blood. Since his career started he has had the opportunity to be part of many bands. However it wasn't until 2008 when he formed Demons Within, that it went to the next level.
Demons Within had a very successful 11.5 year run. They wrote and recorded an extensive library of music and shared the stage with some of the biggest bands out there, including a 3 week United States tour from Chicago to California in 2016 and a 10 day tour from the East Coast into Montreal and Toronto in 2017.
J.C.B laid the Demons to rest in June of 2019, and then in September of 2019 Voices Of The Damned was born. The next chapter of his musical career was sidelined due to the pandemic in 2020, but the band continued to write and cannot wait to share it with you. Voices Of The Damned's debut EP should be released this summer. "Stay Metal and as always HORN'S HIGH!"
Andy Hanna
Lead/Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio Andrew Hanna has been pursuing music for over 20 years. In and out of various bands throughout these years solidified his ever growing appetite for creating music and sharing it on stage. With a wide variety of musical influences he strives to innovate and bring a new yet familiar metal and groove to the scene. Voices of the Damned is the perfect outlet and compliment to his drive to succeed, especially with such talented musicians by his side.
Dan Niederkorn
Lead/Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals
Hailing from the rural-burbia that is Madison Ohio Dan has fostered a love of music that can only be described as “suitably electric”. Playing in bands that range from pure jam, doom, rock and metal. He has found his home with Voices Of The Damned. Providing his knowledge and range to propel the band forward and paying homage to those who laid the road before. To paraphrase the late great Paul Baloff “Thank you for letting me be so HEAVY!!
Micheal Marczak
BASS GUITAR
Born a Cleveland native, Mike has played for a variety of projects for over 35 years in the Cleveland scene. After the finalization of Demons Within in 2019, and few projects in-between, Mike was asked to join Voices of the Damned in early 2024. Helping create the sonic force that is the current Voices of the Damned lineup.
Christopher Herbert
Drums/Samples
My name is Christopher Herbert, I am the drummer for Voices of the Damned. I have been a musician for 26 years. My musical journey started when I was 11 years old playing Trumpet then moved to guitar and finally the drums. The connection to the drums was established during my time at Summer Rocking It summer camp. Once I felt how the drums felt, I was hooked. I went home and asked my mother to buy me a drum set. I knew I wanted to be a drummer. I was influenced by Lars Ulrich, Nick Menza, Joey Jordison, Scott Travis, Vinnie Paul, Gene Hoglan, Richard Christie, Jeff Porcaro, Roger Taylor, the list goes on and on. Learning new techniques and staying consistent with old ones is something I will always continue to practice.
